Pharell is BOSS

I can see it.

You might not always see it, Kitty, but everything, always, plays to your greater good.

Things keep on getting better and better.

And you're already the kind of person you once dreamed you'd become.

I never was any good in friendship with girls.

Until I met Patty.
I was 18, she was 25 and it was like love at first sight.
I had friends but they were all boys who were much better at being a friend as they weren't as clingy and manipulative as the ladies around me.
But then Patty came into my life and she was as laid back, honest, funny, clever and relaxed as I ever hoped to find in a friend and luckily for me, the feeling was mutual.
That was in 1989.
We are sharing a life together with all the ups and downs and I fucking love it to know that she's around to talk/cry/laugh to.

Jay Shells’ “Rap Quotes” Art Project Hits the Streets of New York

Graphic designer, hip-hop head and as it seems, a community philanthropist, Jay Shells has taken the initiative to highlight geographical lyrics from the likes of Mos Def (aka Yasiin Bey), Jay-Z and Big L over a series of bright red signs. While it’s habitual for rappers to represent their neighborhood in their music, now thanks to the artist this nostalgia can be translated into visual form, reminding local New Yorkers of all the great hits coming from their respective boroughs. With nothing more than a step stool, screws, and a merriment for hip-hop, Jay Shells and ANIMAL hit the streets to redecorate the street corners. The clip also takes us to the neighborhoods of some of hip-hop’s greats, with shots of the infamous Marcy projects and Big L’s mural on 140th & Lenox in Harlem.
